Battistini Vivai is one of the best leader of fruit plants by tissue culture in Europe. The consultant Dr. Vitale worked for more than 7 years like responsible of acclimatization of plants from vitro, among the first to develop the preform system and in vivo rooting as well as indoor acclimatization for the most difficult species. The opportunity to work within this innovative company led him to test the first LED lights for agriculture, developing many skills in this regards. During the years of work there have been numerous opportunities for collaboration with companies producing substrates and biostimulantes by developing useful products for the industry. Its contribution linked to greenhouse rooting and the improvement of plant quality was important , obtaining very high rooting percentages in just a few years: there are the years in which the company had its first major growth, reaching a production of 12 million plants/year.
Salvi Vivai is one of the biggest companies in Europe for raspberry plants production, but its fame is also linked to other fruit plants . The collaboration with this company was born from the company’s need to improve the acclimatization phase of its laboratory. The team of technicians in the vitro sector is very motivated and wants to learn, so much so that in a short time we saw production increase rapidly. Many technical innovations under study which always make my work interesting.
Piante Faro is considerated the biggest company in the world for the production of ornamental plants in the Mediterranean area. The collaboration with this important company has allowed me to develop many skills in the ornamental sector, it broadened my vision by considering new and innovative aspects. The team that follows the laboratory and the environment is very knowledgeable and keeps with it the passion needed to obtain the results. The laboratory is undergoing great growth and believe that good production potential will soon emerge, fruit of the great work done so far. The company’s vision for targeting vitro for some plants is forward-thinking… the quality found on some species is significally higher than classic propagation.
